Before You Visit
DIY Group specializes in business-to-business (B2B) contract packaging, warehousing, and distribution services. To help keep our operations running efficiently, we encourage clients to schedule and coordinate pickup or delivery appointments before arriving at our facility.
If you are arranging a freight pickup or delivery, please confirm the scheduled arrival time with your customer, broker, or logistics provider before the driver arrives. Scheduled pickups and deliveries receive priority so our team can maintain an efficient loading and unloading schedule and keep operations running smoothly for all clients.

Schedule before you arrive
Book your pickup or delivery appointment with our team before dispatching a driver. Call 1-800-903-6610 or contact us with your load number, carrier name, and preferred date.
Scheduled loads receive priority at our docks. Booking ahead lets us:
- Reserve dock availability for your arrival window
- Have the right team and paperwork ready
- Keep your driver’s wait as short as possible
If your broker told you the load was scheduled
- Confirm it with us directly before your driver leaves. A load is only scheduled when an appointment has been booked with DIY Group. A broker or shipper telling a driver the load is “ready” or “scheduled” does not create an appointment on our dock.
- A quick call to 1-800-903-6610 before dispatch takes two minutes and can save your driver hours.
Unscheduled and work-in loads
- We understand last-minute pickups happen, and we accommodate them where we can.
- When a broker or shipper asks us to take an unscheduled load, it is handled as a work-in load, meaning we fit it around appointments that were booked in advance.
- Drivers on work-in loads should expect significant wait times. We will work your load in as quickly as we can without disrupting scheduled shipments, but scheduled loads are handled first.
PLEASE NOTE: DIY Group does not accept demurrage charges for downtime associated with unscheduled work-in loads.
If something goes wrong while you are here: Ask for the shift supervisor, or call 1-800-903-6610 before you leave the property. We would rather hear about a problem directly and fix it than read about it later.

If your project involves a product pickup or delivery, we encourage your logistics provider to schedule a designated arrival time with our team in advance whenever possible. If advance scheduling isn’t possible, a quick phone call before arriving can help us coordinate dock availability and minimize potential wait times. Scheduled pickups and deliveries receive priority, so unscheduled arrivals may experience longer wait times depending on dock availability and the day’s production schedule.
